Damascus Media Gate City: New Meeting Held to Define the Project’s Implementation Steps
The Syrian Center for Legal, Strategic, and Investment Affairs (SCLS) participated in a meeting that brought together the Minister of Information, Dr. Hamza Al-Mustafa, and the Chairman of Al-Maha International Company, Mr. Mohammed Al-Enezi, to discuss ways to move forward with the “Damascus Media Gate City” project and to transform the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two parties into an executive agreement.
This project represents an ambitious step toward rebuilding Syria’s media infrastructure by establishing an integrated media city that will serve as a regional hub for artistic and technical production, as well as an attractive environment for investment and creativity.
The meeting emphasized the importance of developing the necessary regulatory, financial, and technical frameworks to implement the project in line with the strategic vision of the Ministry of Information to advance the media sector in Syria.
This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a legal and investment environment that contributes to launching high-impact projects in the fields of media, culture, and creative production — enhancing Syria’s position as a regional center for production and innovation.
At SCLS, we continue to support initiatives that bring together the public sector and leading investors through an approach that combines law, strategy, and investment — with the goal of achieving sustainable development and building stable and effective institutions.
